1、 Product Usage:

The XB-3 colorimeter (0-2.5mg/L) is suitable for detecting residual chlorine concentration in large, medium, and small water plants, industrial and mining enterprises, domestic or industrial water. The measurement is simple and fast, especially suitable for on-site measurement without power supply.

2、 Principle of residual chlorine colorimeter (colorimetric box):

This instrument uses ortho toluidine (or tetramethylbenzidine) reagent and applies visual colorimetric method. When measuring, when the tested water sample is poured into the reagent, the water sample will turn yellow. Then place the water sample into a colorimetric stand, rotate the colorimetric disc, and visually compare the depth of yellow to obtain the concentration of residual chlorine.
